Let's start with the good. Location. Its at the end of Black Beach near Jesuse Christ Statue. The staff said it was only 800meters away. Solid 15min walk up hill than 900+ steps to the Statue. Dont forget you need long pants to enter the shoulders of christ. I had shorts on was stopped at shoe storage. Staff was friendly and did their best to help. House keeping will toss anything left on the tables. I am assuming thats what happened to my uneaten fruits and cookies. They also dont have any kind of soap. Only shower / body gel. Which was gone before I could finish showering. The same cleaner caught an attitude when I asked for 2. Need to wash off the suntan lotion! The breakfast package consists of Pho and 3 sunnyside eggs in a bun Mei bread. You get a slip to hand in. I was solo, so they gave me another meal for my late sleeping friend. *wink* coffee was good. The Bad. Room is very damp. Even with AC on. Speaking of AC. It is super cold. I mean, cold!!!! The bed was woodframe w a beat up mattress. The TV was snowy like an old antenna TV. There was a big roach right outside more room door. Guess he needed a place to crash too. No hot water, you have to let it run for 20mins to get warm enough for a quick shower! Also. The first 10 pics in Trip is wrong. That is not how the hotel looks like. Google 43A thuy van and look at the hotel next to Circle K market, the local version of 7-11. That was the main reason I chose this place. I tried to cancel my 2nd night when I got there. Front desk said too late. You cant. You already paid. No refunds!!! Conclusion If you plan to use room like a hostel / luggage storage and dont care if its a Hilton, then this is for you. Pro tip: book the limousine van to SGN airport. Under 3 hours door to door. Only 200k. Front desk can assist on the return. On the arrival they all over the airport.
